That title seems to fit our lack of posting. Kristin made a valiant effort when she did the Christmas post, but you'd think that considering it is May 1st (really?!?) we would have a few more posts on the blog. Sadly we have no good excuses. Here's the update on our lives.
November: I started a new job. It keeps me busy. We are so so so so thankful to have a job.
December: Xmas, the holidays, etc.
January - March: We started looking for houses. This decision all came up rather quickly, despite the fact that over Xmas I told Ty that it would be a couple of years before the house hunt began. We honestly thought that at the time. But we got the itch and it just felt right. We started out by seeing 1 or 2 houses a week, and it progressed to 3 or 4 per week by the end. We looked everywhere from Bountiful to Draper. You see, I had lived in the same stake for all of my 28 years (minus 2 for the mission and 1.5 spent in a married student ward) and I thought it was important to expand our search to other parts of the valley. I had nothing against other parts of the valley and I just wanted to see what was out there.
April: I ran the Salt Lake Half Marathon. I had hoped to run the Full, but had some issues with my left knee. Incredible how reasonable the Half seems when you've mentally prepared yourself for the Full. I suppose that's a life a lesson that could be applied in other arenas. The same day that I ran the Half we moved to our new house. We are close to the Fort Union area (about 70th south and 18th east). Most importantly for all of you blog readers, we have a guest bedroom (even two!). So, next time you are in Salt Lake make sure to stop by our place, we'd love to have you. Our neighborhood, at least two weeks in, seems incredible. We've had scores of neighbors over to welcome us. Heck, one of our neighbors goes by "papu and yaya" (greek for grandma and grandpa). Ty, can you say Grandpa Art? The boys are invited to Papu's and Yaya's every Saturday to have a treat from the treat bucket. So cool.
I think those are the main updates. Hope everyone is doing well.

Wow, congratulations on the new house!
I hung out with Grandpa Art too, you know. And remember the Starburst man on 2000 E? Good times.
And I am so happy you have such wonderful, welcoming neighbors! It sounds like the boys are already making lots of memories that will last forever!
You ought to post some pics of the new house. We will be up in Northern Utah this weekend, maybe we can get together.
